Sulis Research Group

About the group

Our team is dedicated to advancing the field of infectious disease epidemiology, with a special focus on areas of utmost global health relevance. Our research interests span four main themes:

  1. Antibiotic prescribing & dispensing practices: We focus on improving antibiotic stewardship, particularly in resource-limited settings and at the primary level of care.

  2. Tuberculosis prevention & care: Our work aims to enhance TB prevention and care, with a primary focus on the most vulnerable populations.

  3. Vaccine epidemiology: We investigate vaccine uptake and acceptability among adults, as well as the impact of adult vaccination on healthcare utilization and medication use.

  4. Best research practices: We are committed to optimizing knowledge synthesis methods to improve research practices in infectious disease epidemiology and global health.

By integrating a range of methodological approaches, we generate new and timely evidence that informs decision-making and helps shape clinical and public health practices across these research areas.

Our multidisciplinary team collaborates with a broad network of national and international partners, ensuring our research is comprehensive and impactful. We are dedicated to promoting transparency in research design, conduct, and reporting, ultimately contributing to a healthier, more equitable world.
